Since acquiring The Cellar, Fort Capital has rebranded the property to La Cima. La Cima was built in 1974 and consists of 78 Class C units or approximately 72,350 net rentable square feet on 3.14 acres. The property consists of nine buildings, one community pool, 118 parking spaces, two laundry facilities and one mail center. Fort saw the opportunity to acquire the property from a long-term owner, as well as adding value to the property by raising rents through an extensive rehab of the property. Fort Capital painted the exterior of the community, revamped the pool area for residents, added signage including a new monument sign, remodeled the office and clubhouse, and upgraded 12 interior units.
Located eight miles west of the El Paso CBD and roughly two miles Southwest of the El Paso International Airport, the complex also benefits from its proximity (walking distance) to Eastwood Middle School and several retail shopping centers. The property is in a heavily populated area and is situated near major El Paso thoroughfares such as North Yarbrough and Highway 10, allowing for ease of access to major El Paso attractions.
