Nathan Metheny joined Fort Capital in December 2022 as an Economic Strategist. In this role, he will be working closely with the Operations and Technology Teams to design, implement, and integrate Fort Capital’s proprietary investment methodologies.
Prior to joining Fort Capital, Nathan paired his technological background with his real estate knowledge to perform in-depth market research for several multi-billion-dollar firms, research that spanned from broad-based macroeconomic indicators to intricate regional trends. Fort Capital was an outlier with its standout culture and operations process, and after developing a strong working relationship, he was eager to join the team when awarded the opportunity.
Nathan graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in International Business. Following his BA, Nathan completed an online ‘study-abroad’ internship with a Singaporean quantitative real estate investment firm, building large-scale machine learning systems within the real estate sector, obtained a certification in Applied Machine Learning from MIT, and is now finishing an MS of Engineering in Applied Artificial Intelligence at the University of San Diego.
In his free time, he loves to read, work out, spend time with family, and hike the trails of Appalachia.
